Fresh N Up

Thursday - Silent Disco

Ian, part of the account management team is back from a two week trip to Vietnam, and as a result is also back to owning the ping pong table. I like to think of myself as a pretty good table tennis player, but in hindsight, being the new guy I should not have been so cocky about my ‘skills’. I also should have realised that having a ping pong table in the basement means that someone working here is going to be half decent. Well, they aren’t half decent, they are incredible. I have never witnessed anything like Ian and Jordan slogging the ball back and forth across the table, putting unimaginable amount of spin on the ball sending it in all sorts of directions. It was almost like watching some strange ancient ritual in which two full grown men performed an aggressive dance; arms flailing everywhere accompanied by all sorts of grunts and groans (every time a point was lost). I could have sat there all day in awe of this….somewhat surreal scenario …but before I could get too excited, it was over.

“We’re still a bit rusty” Ian informed me before heading back upstairs.

I felt like this was a great example of that old saying, work hard, play hard!

…too hard for my liking, I’ll stick to playing ping pong with Katie. She’s rubbish.

Hello would you thoughts stating which weblog platform you are working with? I am looking to start out my personal web site soon but I am obtaining a difficult time making a decision amongst BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The cause I inquire is simply because your layout would seem unique then most weblogs and I am seeking for one thing completely unique.         P.S Sorry for being off-topic but I needed to inquire!
