OTB’s Mark Davies has joined the editorial panel for The Drum. The online and printed magazine details the latest news in creative marketing and media and is now recognised as one of the first sources for marketing industry news and comment.
Along with a panel of representatives from all over Yorkshire, Mark will undertake a number of activities, including:
o A review of The Drum’s current website and how it can be developed
o A review of The Drum magazine and the role of the printed publication
o The Drum editorial content
o MiNetwork whitepaper, events and training, mentoring and affiliations / partnerships.
The Drum has huge ambitions to grow the readership of the website as well as the magazine and is calling in experts to find new and interesting ways of improving the quality of its content and communicate it in the most relevant way to the target audience.

Having recognised our success as one of the UK’s leading marketing agencies, who was voted a top ten agency by the RAR, The Drum is keen to hear OTB’s views and generate new ideas, which Mark has already contributed to.
Gordon Young, editor of The Drum said OTB’s “input was invaluable,” a great start to show how important Mark and the OTB team’s contribution is to The Drum.
To help Mark with his participation to the editorial panel, outside the box conducted an internal survey of the The Drum and much of the research was fed back into last week’s meeting of the editorial panel.
After undertaking this significant piece of research, we’ve established many new and exciting developments for The Drum...but they are currently top secret so we don’t want to reveal any yet!
